Automating Quicbooks Point of Sale Desktop

Hello guys,

I need some assistance.  I am very fond of Autoit and it's scripting capabilities.  It has saved me a lot of time in scripting Installs, etc.

However, I am trying to do some scripting in Quickbooks Point of Sale Desktop.  I'm specifically trying to automate processes that have to be done manually like "Multi-Site" transfer which needs someone to actually log in, enter their password, navigate to menus and click buttons.

 

My issue is, the AutoIt Window Info tool is basically useless in the Quickbooks POS window.  I get no specific text/window information and I don't get Control information.  How do I remedy this issue?

You probably need to use IUIAutomation. Alternatively, have you checked to see if they offer an API to perform the desired tasks?
