ahha Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Using standard SciTe editor. When I use Replace and click Find Next button the highlight is so dim I can't find it. Regular Find works fine as does double clicking on a word showing other instances of the word. Replace seems to be the only issue. Is there a way to adjust it so it's clearly obvious like bright yellow?

Well, I don't clearly understand what SciTE you're using. The above is for the full SciTE on the downloads from this site. ahha Posted September 9, 2024 Author Posted September 9, 2024 @donnyh13 - yes. Tried it multiple times and even went so far as to check entire disks to see if any files written at about that time and nothing. So at least that part makes sense. Now to figure out why it's not saving it.

Other than that, I would re-install the software. I can not think of a reason for the file not to be saved as expected. You are using the full SciTE from this site ?, or is it the lite version from the Autoit installer, or even the one from https://scintilla.org/SciTE.html ? I ask because you said that you are "Using standard SciTe editor." Follow the link to my code contribution ( and other things too ). FAQ - Please Read Before Posting.
Solution ahha Posted September 9, 2024 Author Solution Posted September 9, 2024 All, Using SciTE for AutoIt3 ver:18.708.1148.0 which I believe was from the AutoIt install. I noticed your screen shot shows ver: 21.316.1639.0 When I run a program it shows: Starting AutoIt3Wrapper v.18.708.1148.0 SciTE v.4.1.0.0 ... I'm reinstalling from: https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit-script-editor/downloads/ which is dated 16-3-2021 It says Welcome to SciTE4AutoIt3 21.203.1500.3 Setup When I hit Ctrl+1 it shows SciTE Config for AUtoIt3 ver: 22.611.2153.0 That did it. It works. Thanks to all. I should know by now to reload before wasting everyone's time. Sorry about that. argumentum and donnyh13 1 1
