Audrey Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Hi guys, A quick question: The font in SCiTE (and when running an au3) on my new pc looks fuzzy compared to my old pc, all other software looks sharp. The pc's display settings are the same and even changing the text size, resolution etc, does not help. All settings in the SciTE.Config (CTRL 1) are the same as well. Old pc: New pc: Who has seen this before? Thanks guys! Audrey
WildByDesign Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Just now, Audrey said: Who has seen this before? SciTE doesn't do high DPI scaling by default because it's very old software. And it's likely that your newer PC uses high DPI as they all do now. You need to set high DPI scaling for the SciTE.exe binary. Right-click on SciTE.exe, go to Properties, click on the Compatibility tab and click on the button that says Change high DPI settings. At the bottom, click on Override high DPI scaling behavior. I would choose Application as the option. Click OK to save that new setting. You will have to restart SciTE for the high DPI settings to take effect. Audrey 1
Solution Audrey Posted October 16 Author Solution Posted October 16 Hi WildByDesign, You're fan-tas-tic! This was it. Really great!! Many thanks again! WildByDesign 1
WildByDesign Posted October 16 Posted October 16 You're very welcome. You will probably also notice that any scripts that you run may also be fuzzy as well. In that case, you can do the same method with AutoIt3.exe and AutoIt3_x64.exe. Audrey 1
