Verify A Windows Password

I am writing a script to automatically set some scheduled backups to run as Administrator, I need to find a good way to verify the Administrator password. I know what they should be but I want a quick way to test before going through the setups.

If the test fails I am going to prompt the user to enter the password"That part is already figured out"

Any Ideas?
