Regenerating The Sid's

Hi Guys

I have fallen out with sysprep. I have decided to image my pc's and regenerate the SID's myself.

I am going to create a little auto gui screen to do some of the thing that sysprep did like change computer and IP. However I still need to have some sort of of sid regenerator I have found a util called newsid which allows you to do this. Has anyone used newsid do they recommend it or can anyone come up with a different util which they think is better.

Are we talking a couple of PCs? Like home PCs? If you are only restoring the image back to the machine it was taken from then you don't need to do anything.

If you are talking about a rollout, then sysprep is the only thing I would ever recommend...
