Slythfox 0 Posted April 7, 2006 After opening a program, I'd like to know how to change tabs, click buttons, and check boxes (but be able to check if they are checked in the first place). I know I can do the run command to run the program, and that I can use the send command to do some simple stuff, but I don't know how to do somthing like this... Any ideas? Thanks. Slythfox 0 Posted April 8, 2006 I've tried it. It's too buggy. And a lot oif the .au3 scripts have errors in it (all of the ones in the Tutorials directory are missing IE.au3...) I've also tried using Au3Info.exe. I know get item names from it, I just need to know how to apply it to the Send() command. Thats where my problem lies. Thats where my problem lies. You need to look at ControlCommand(), things like "IsVisible", "", "Checked", "", "UnChecked, ""... ControlClick() etc... All of these have a return value, so you can know if something is true or not. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
