shayneh Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Is it possible to have a script pass a return value back to the process that called it? eg another script, VB exe etc that has run an AutoIt3 script with some input parameters and expects a return value. Thanks, ShayneH

GL And welcome to the forum.Edit: Typo Edited April 11, 2006 by SmOke_N Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
BigDaddyO Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 if the variable you want to pass is a number then you can specify that with the Exit command. if it's text then yes, you are stuck with writing to a file, or Registry.
