Pass Value Back Out Of Script?

Is it possible to have a script pass a return value back to the process that called it? eg another script, VB exe etc that has run an AutoIt3 script with some input parameters and expects a return value.

You can look at: StdoutRead / StdWrite / StderrRead or you can write to a file and parse for answer (ie.. ini / dat), I'm sure there are other suggestions... GL And welcome to the forum.

if the variable you want to pass is a number then you can specify that with the Exit command. if it's text then yes, you are stuck with writing to a file, or Registry.
