JuergenF Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Dear all, we are migrationg from Novell Netware 6 Print-Services (NDPS) to a W2K3 PrintServer. That is why we have to add a lot of Printers to that new Server. Is there a script for AutoIt or a VB or other Script to do that job ? Thanks for any hints Juergen
JuergenF Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 Thanks a lot Just what I was looking for. The response time - and quality as well - of this forum is great !!!
JuergenF Posted May 25, 2004 Author Posted May 25, 2004 What about a script to add the needed TCP/IP Ports to the PrintServer ? As far as I could see, that can't be done with the mentioned command "rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "NORTH-US-SRTEST-TEST24-BOGUS" /f %windir%\inf\ntprint.inf /r "IP_157.57.50.98" /m "HP Laserjet 4000 Series PCL" /Z" only works when the TCP/IP Port "IP_157.57.50.98" is already created on the server. But how to do that ? Has anyone any ideas ? Thanks a lot Juergen
