Simucal
Can you post the code for the gui you are trying to read... so I can run it and figure out what would be the best way to get the information? Moderators SmOke_N Posted June 18, 2006 Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2006 How would you normally read the text of another application if it weren't written in AutoIt? Maybe try ControlGetText()? Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer. nfwu
Use AutoIt's Window Spy to get the Control ID of the label. Then read it using ControlGetText() as SmOke said. #) TwitterOut of date stuff:Scripts: Sudoku Solver | Webserver | 3D library (Pure AutoIt) | Wood's GadgetsUDFs: _WoodUniqueID() | _DialogEditIni() | _Console*() | _GetIPConfigData() | _URLEncode/Decode()
