If that version of Trillian supports hotkeys, then set up a global hotkey in Trillian to exit the program when it is pressed. Then you can do a simple Send() to send the hotkey and Trillian will exit. Hotkeys are in Trillian Pro 2+ at least (I don't remember Trillian Pro 1.x or the free version).

Thanks Valik , all take a look at that . right now I have to take all this stuff down and move it tonight to the new house we are moving into and no dsl till the AM ..

Hotkeys are in Trillian Pro 2+ at least (I don't remember Trillian Pro 1.x or the free version).

Both the free version (0.74H) and the Pro versions (1 & 2) support hotkeys. I'm not on my main box at the moment where I have Trillian installed, but they're in the preferances somewhere. You can add events and hotkeys, and adjust sounds all from the same section.
