CDTray status options Lock/Unlock

Would it be possible to add two status options to CDTray to allow locking/unlocking of the drive? I frequently press the eject button on my laptop at the most inopportune times. The button is exactly where I place my hands to pick up the laptop to move it.

You could always not pick up the laptop. In any case, you can call the drive locking functions yourself. Write a UDF.

Is that really even possible to "lock" the drives closed? Like make it so the motor doesn't turn on when the button it pressed? That would be really cool lol.

It is very possible to lock the drives. That is something good burning applications do before burning.

Hey, you got a point there... Never thought of that. I wonder how they do that? with dlls or something ( im very unexperienced with dlls ). Although there is never an actual lock, because all CD trays have the emergency pinhole to force it open, but it would prevent majority of attempts to open it
