And it shouldn't be possible, this way it would be quite simple for virusses to access your bios edit: If i remember correctly, there has been some bios versions that had a windows utility to change things... don't think they excist anymore. What settings would you be considering altering? Date, Time, HDD values, CPU speed, RAM timing, boot sequence, voltage? Think about it: what would allow continuing Windows operations if you did?
