Need HELP with UDP

Hi all,

I need a functionality similar to nbtstat.exe in WinXP for this project.

The idea is to send Node Status Request to an IP address (PC in the local network) and to extract the NAME and MAC address from the response. (the same as running "nbtstat.exe -a 192.168.1.10" for example)

My knowledge of the UDP is very poor. So i need help.

and why not use nbtstat and parse the output?

try "ping IP" and "arp -a"

za ime ne znam, mai ne pomognah mnogo

nslookup ?

Because i don't want to depend on other executables.

And I'm almost sure, that it can be done with AutoIt.

I just lack the knowledge of UDP insides.
