Vindicator209 Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 I saw larry's "lesson" with the AreaPixelRecord thingy, and I was wondering, is there a way to make the script find a pixel of same properties that are closest to the cursor? because I want to make a script that presse buttons on a game, but it has so many multipules of the same button color (although they are gradients), for a fellow friend that does not, and cannot, have the same resolution as me, so I cant just use mouseclick "When you look at old, classic games like Snake, you often put it off because it's such a simple game, but it's only when you actually try and create your own unique game from scratch, do you finally appreciate those games."Don't ask for answers if you haven't TRIED yet! Most answers can be answered in the help file! fry Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Maybe a looping search around cursor when the cursor is over a certain color. For example if your cursor is over a red area have it seach for a checksum or color within 50 pixels in all directions and if it matches left click.Only problem I see with that is to me it seems it would lag behind a bit when you move the cursor fast, not to mention you might have to make the loop so short it would take up crazy amounts of cpu,but thats the first/only idea I can think of,then again more than likely you know more than I about autoit and it's capabilities.
Moderators SmOke_N Posted October 9, 2006 Moderators Posted October 9, 2006 me? hah, i spit out more questions perday than hurricane kartrina killedThat's not the least bit funny. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
