How can i detect a click

How can i detect if a click has ocured, the dificulty is that it's not on a button radio or any other element it s on a simple widow with no elements(or some icons/pictures) on it so GUIGetMsg is out of the question.

Also i've got it kinda working with GUI_EVENT_PRIMARYDOWN but the problem with using any of these is that u can press down move the mouse and then relese the buton and still will get detected as a click wich isn't entirley corect.

Some1 pls help me
