Object names

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the dumbass question, but how do you get an objects name, say in IE? I didn't see anything with windowspy, and didn't see anything in the help file about this =/

Figured it out on my own.

I needed to find object names (like Frames, Forms, Elements, Images, etc...) on any given page. Sometimes these names are not available in the source code. I used a DOM Viewer to grab the names, specifically I used the IE Developer Toolbar to make things easy.
