Valik Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 If you'd spend less time calling me an asshole and more time reading my posts, you'd realize that the title of this thread is the only search term necessary to find the information the users have provided. I have zero tolerance for somebody who titles their thread with the proper search term. So you're right, search isn't perfect, especially when the user doesn't even bother to use it.

Had you followed the suggestion, typed the word SelfDelete[space here] you would have seen the entire function appear, and seen how the script can delete itself (Which was the first part of your question). Then, on top of that, if you had followed yet again, the suggestion of 1 or 2 of us to use an external file to write to, to let your program know if it had been ran yet, and if not, it was ok to run now, if so, to not allow it to run again, you would have seen that too would be an option (Which was the 2nd part to your question). So, your questions were answered specifically.... Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
