locomaestro Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 why is it that when i try to compile my old scripts with the new autoit beta it uses more space than it did before with normal autoit is there anyone outthere who could explain this to me? jussie Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 I think because when you compile your .au3 file it also copies the files that you have included in your scripts (if you are using file includes) and some of them are getting bigger with more functions added. The size increase isn't much though IMHO. I am guessing the memory increase is also due to new features and that as well should be a very minute (even less so) increase.
