Animated Gif on Splas screem

I created an animated .gif file to use as a splash screen. When I run it as SplasOn() in autoit the automation doesn't work. Is there a restriction that won't allow this behavior or is it just me (probably the most likely answer)

animated gif's are not implemented. However, you can create your own splash screen. Embed IE into a GUI and view the animated GIF with IE. See _IE* functions and search the forum for "Internet Explorer embedding".
