Ken333 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 hey guys i have a project that requires me to connect some sensors to a car and connect these sensors to a minidragon then send these data through an RF transcever which is from ABACOM company called RS232 to a PC can any one tell me how to connect the RS232 to the minidragon and to the PC thx
McGod Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I don't think Autoit is really suited for this. I'm sure it's probably doable with heavy DllCalls but I'm sure there is a better language for this. Lakes Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Outside Autoit`s scope I think, more likely a PIC project, I`m curious as to what a MiniDragon is? 2015 - Still no flying cars, instead blankets with sleeves.
Confuzzled Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Outside Autoit`s scope I think, more likely a PIC project, I`m curious as to what a MiniDragon is?Is this the board you are talking about: http://www.evbplus.com/minidragonplus_hc12...9s12_hcs12.html ? Does your PC have a RS232 port? What kind of sensors are they and what will you be measuring - time lapse, frequency, voltage, current, etc? Are you connecting the MiniDragon to the car CAN bus directly? What format do you want the final results in: Excel, text, CSV file, XML?
