MePHiTiC
I'm just curious what are all of the values can/will be returned by @OSServicePack? Say on Win95, Win98, WinMe, Win2K, WinXP, Win2k3, etc. I know on my WinXP SP2 machine I get "Service Pack 2". But what about the other OS's and what if there isn't a SP installed? Thanks! rudi
Hi. Sorry to bump this again... I need to know if anyone knows what the Win 2000 service packs show up as... Please post the value for @OSSERVICEPACK for Win 2000 Sp1, SP2, SP3, and SP4 .... thanks... Windows 2000 Serivepack 4 gives this: "Service Pack 4" So I think it's very likely the others will give "Service Pack 3", .... For Win2kSP4 the CMD box reports this: C:\>ver Microsoft Windows 2000 [Version 5.00.2195] C:\> regards, rudi. Earth is flat, pigs can fly, and Nuclear Power is SAFE!
