Sara Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Hello Guys, Is there a way to delete a particular bookmark from Mozilla Firefox. I am finding it tough to to write Autoit scripts for Firefox. It was much easier to do the same with IE. Any comments?
evilertoaster Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 might be some udf in the forums for firefox...do a search....else do it manually...i guess it stores it bookmarks on the HD at C:/Documents & Settings/%UserName%/Application Data/Mozilla/Profiles/Default/(somenumbers)/ and theres a bookmark html file or somthing suposedly (second hand information)

If I am not wrong, this file contains all the bookmarks that have been set. I want to delete a specific bookmark. However I also tried deleting "Bookmarks.html" file and the "Bookmarkbackups" folder from the profile folder, but they get created again when Firefox starts.
evilertoaster Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 can you not edit that file and remove the bookmarks in question?
