J0ker Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Well, I just finished writting all my script and I'm ready to compile. Im looking for a protection for my exe file, the best protection out there. If my script finish on internet in possession of someone that I dont want then he wont be able to run it. What is the best protection I could use for my script? (Only password, Specific password that work on only ONE computer,etc..) Thx!
Hello Me You Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Can you tell me what do you exactly want? Random
J0ker Posted February 11, 2007 Author Posted February 11, 2007 I thought I was clear... I'm looking for a protection for my exe file (script) so no one would be able to decompile it and see the code. Also, I want a protection that will let me decide who can run my script ( a password a give to someone, etc...) There's already a password when I compile the script but I dont think this will give alot of protection to my script. It only prevent people from decompiling but it doesnt prevent people from using it.
Developers Jos Posted February 11, 2007 Developers Posted February 11, 2007 (edited) I thought I was clear...Think you were pretty clear.. Not really much you can do to protect against mis-use ... all big companies have tried and still haven't figured it out .... J0ker Posted February 11, 2007 Author Posted February 11, 2007 (edited) Well to protect from decompling I can use EncodeIt (Great Job SmOke! ) + Password, that's the least I can do. About the exe file, I had a program ( made in java) that when you launch the program for the first time , it create a file ( with a random extension). I had to send this file to the owner of the program so he can give me the password that was working only with my computer. Anyone know a way to do something similar to that? We are getting away from the Autoit subject but maybe someone have some experiences in another coding language. Edited February 11, 2007 by J0ker
Moderators SmOke_N Posted February 11, 2007 Moderators Posted February 11, 2007 Have you looked at Xprotect by Valuater? Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
J0ker Posted February 11, 2007 Author Posted February 11, 2007 Yep but I dont like the "Paying" function, is there a way I could disable it so it will only make a protection.
