I can open a ~60mb hex file in a hex editor in < 10 seconds but an autoit hex editor takes > 10 minutes to open a 5mb file... saving images, processing lots of commands, reading pixels, it all seems very slow... Then yes, a lot of times poor speed efficiency is the coders fault.To understand other speed issues, the first thing you need to do is understand what an interpreted language is. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
