Okay I need to do this:

hold down ctrl

hold down w

then release both.

Is it possible? And if so does anyone have the knowledge to show me a sample?

Oh and anyway to hold the left mouse button down and release it?

...but you should use the search function in the help file. Search for "down" and read the first topic returned. About half way down the page you should find {CTRLDOWN}. Continue searching/reading for the answers to your other questions.
