My service is built to sit in the backround inless a large hotkey has been pressed. Once this hotkey is pressed the service is supposed to terminate all other non system processes. A sort of panic button you could say. It worked fine, however when i made it a service it no longer reacted to the hotkeys! Why?

Have you tried setting it to be able to interact with the desktop? (Just to be complete: it's a services setting, in Windows you can reach it through the 'logon' tab (I guess, I'm on a Dutch windows box).)

Roses are FF0000, violets are 0000FF... All my base are belong to you.

Ok, yes it is set to interact with the desktop. And i want it to run as a service so that i can monitor it easily and that its not capable of being attacked by other programs!
