Capturing click events on a IE object

Long story short: I'm trying to write a touchscreen app that will use HTML pages with MAP defined hotspots to launch commands.

I'd like to create a GUI w/ IEObject that will load an inital html page that will link to other html pages. I'd like to be able to capture click events (see the link above) from any of the pages that are loaded that will allow me to trigger various commands based on the name/class/whatever of the item clicked on.

Best case scenario: I create a frame page with a nav page on the left that will load pages into a frame on the right. Ultimately, I need to be able to capture data from all pages in any frame.

Possible?
