If I register autoitx3.dll with regsvr32.exe and later on delete the dll, does it leave any invalid traces to registry?

So should I make sure that the dll is unregistered when my application is removed or does the unregistration happen automatically because of the missing dll?

You should unregister it 1st before deleting it or you will leave invalid entries if you simply delete the file.
