Load and save images

I want to automate fetching images.

Here is the scenario:

Open Web Site #1

Open Web Site #2

Click on Image on Site #1 causing image to download to temporary file

Click on download area in Site #2 to save image there.

Is this somethat that can be automated with Autoit? Tips?

Of course the real solution would be to crawl Site #1 and save all of the Images with their names, and then save them on Site #2 (The location and description for the image already exists on Site #2).

Is this possible?

I will be astounded if it is!
