Outlook COM Objects

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if it's possible to control the macros and rules with COM objects (and by extension, AutoIt)? I've searched, but I can't find anything too helpful. Messages, contacts, interface, etc., sure, just not macros and rules.

I have, actually. I can't find anything. The only thing I can think of is to create new COM objects to manipulate the things I need.

Edit: I found that Outlook 2007 supports Rules as objects, but not Macros. So, I guess I'm stuck with creating a new object.

In order to run call a macro in Outlook you need to use this syntax.

Application.YourMarcroName

Where your "YourMacroName' has to be replaced bey the name of the Macro.

This Application.YourMarcroName is a not supported Method in Outlook.

Success.
