WeMartiansAreFriendly
Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to adjust env. variables by setting the variable.. e.g. Change @windowsdir to F:\files\test\ via a batch script, I know you can do this in autoit, but I was wondering how to get autoit to catch the change to the variable made by that batch script.. @WindowsDir Should = F:\files\test\ when launched from the batch script. Or did I miss something, maybe the batch is not correct . heres the test script MsgBox(0,'',@WindowsDir) heres the batch script @cls set windir=F:\files\test\ start a.exe echo 'windir' certainly is... %windir% @pause Don't bother, It's inside your monitor!------GUISetOnEvent should behave more like HotKeySet()
evilertoaster
When you set an env variable it only stays set while the application that set it is running. (See the documentation on envset, it holds true for other applications as well) Edited June 11, 2007 by evilertoaster
