GWmellon
I want to get a random link out of a _IELinkGetCollection. This is the code so far: $oLinks = _IELinkGetCollection ($oIE);get all the links in the page $iNumLinks = @extended; count 'em $getalink =Random(1,$iNumlinks,1) Then what? I had thought that $oLinks was an array but it does not seem to be.
DaleHohm
A collection is similar to an array, but not the same. Another call to _IELinkGetCollection using a random index as the second parameter should get you what you want. Just remember that the index is 0-based (just like AutoIt arrays) to it goes from 0 to $iNumLinks - 1 Dale Free Internet Tools: DebugBar, AutoIt IE Builder, HTTP UDF, MODIV2, IE Developer Toolbar, IEDocMon, Fiddler, HTML Validator, WGet, curl MSDN docs: InternetExplorer Object, Document Object, Overviews and Tutorials, DHTML Objects, DHTML Events, WinHttpRequest, XmlHttpRequest, Cross-Frame Scripting, Office object model Automate input type=file (Related) Alternative to _IECreateEmbedded? better: _IECreatePseudoEmbedded Better Better?
