It would have to be critically important and have a big payoff to get me to spend the hours necessary, but it's not impossible to reduce it to a reasonable, readable script.It is impossible to get back the exact function and variable names, etc. Those are just gone. You would have to reverse all the string substitutions, then carefully parse the remaining code for the purpose of various variables and functions, renaming them along the way so you could understand the script. After many days and countless high-caffeine soft drinks you might get it down to a maintainable state. If you wrote the original, then it will be a little easier, because some of it will start to look familiar, and you can look for the functions of the UDFs you know were #include'd, etc.Good luck with that.
