"$LoginChecksum[0] = 0x8C7C50" maybe the "0x8C7C50" is not correct? I assume you gathered this number with the PixelChecksum. try gathering the checksum again

am i incorrect in thinking that this is only checking one pixel?

$LoginChecksum[1] = 321
$LoginChecksum[2] = 225

wouldn't that check region 321,255 to 321,225
