Wont Save Properly

Hey, just another new person to scripts here. THe problem is whenever is go to save my script it wont save as a .au3 or .a3x file but as a file that has no specific program to open it with. Are there any specific programs that allow me to save as a .au3 or .a3x file?

I know that in SciTe you need to add the extension.

Example: myfile.au3 you need to add the .au3

I have not found a program that saves files with the correct extension. I have always had to save it as myfile.au3 manually.
