GUICtrlCreatePic

I am trying to use GUICtrlCreatePic under WinPE v1.6 or VistaPE (WInPE v2.0), and it won't work.

The GUI works fine under Windows XP SP2, but not WinPE.

Can anyone tell me what DLL or WinAPI, GUICtrlCreatePic uses?

I want to try and get it working under WinPE.

I dimly remember that under the older versions of PE that certain picture types aren't available - try a bmp or something.

we figured it out.

We were calling the EXE via full path:

Z:\dir\name\here\filename.exe

This wasn't working for some reason.

But if we changed to that directory first, and then ran the EXE, it worked.

No idea why.
