i've looked though the tools and i want my macro to be able to wait a while and is there a tool that will count like i turn it on to start the timer then turn it off to start it again,

also i have a question on active window question does the macro always have to be on top using your own mouse and key board or can it be simulated?

also the scite editor has lost the tools that it had before,

any extra tools that you guys might suggest would be helpful.

TimerInit() - see help.

Don't understand your question about active window.

Scite tools will reappear I expect if you save the file with the extension au3.

like say for instance i have Internet explorer open and paint. i want the macro to paint something while a look at the Internet, without me having my computer controlled like simulate my keystrokes.

could ya give me a code where i can use that like a hot key to turn it on and a hot key to turn it off :), don't need anything fancy just too see time differences.
