Yes, but Windows File Protection protects Notepad.exe. It won't let you copy it in. I'm coding it right now to temporarily disable the protection for Notepad.exe so I can let it slip in. Thanks for helping out!

That would be great if you could help. :) For now it'll be released as an extra, until I can get a full integrated installer going. Here's what you need to do:
  • Delete notepad.exe from: (IN THIS ORDER!)

    c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386

    c:\windows\system32\dllcache

    c:\windows\system32

    c:\windows

  • Copy notepad.exe (AIPad) to c:\windows.

Why not just use inno setup for the installer?

Things will become a bit more complex once I will have it fully integrated. :) I'd rather use a language that I'm comfortable with, and I know will work.

Inno setup doesnt use a language, its a wizard.

Fine... I'm making something for now with that until I will make my own. I would much rather make my own custom installer once I get everything prepared.

ok, and did Aipad work on wine?

Umm... I guess the part in which it worked most was that it responded. When you make a new tab, it kind of merges the data of each tab, so you have this big mess of letters. Like if you have in tab 1 the words "hello how are you", and you make a new tab and enter "I am fine thanks", then go back to tab 1, you'll see something like "helIlahmow arine thethaynkosu".

Hmm, Saving in the .aip format doesnt save the file.. Is that a bug or is it not implemented yet?

It works fine for me with a clean installation of AIPad.. are you running the source or executable?
