Process Threading

I bet this is posted somewhere, but I can't find the answer I'm looking for. I spent time today researching it, but found nothing for what I'm needing.

I want to learn how to do two things:

[1.]Put an open "object" (eg. Excel) "under" the process that opened it (ie. my au3 compiled script).

[2.]Put any exe opened by my au3 compiled script "under" my au3 compiled script.

Basically, one function of this is if the exe of my compiled au3 script closes then so will the child processes.
