Steph
I'm writing an installer for a Pocket PC application which uses SQL Everywhere. The Pocket PC communicates with the computer via port 1024 which ideally I would like to open from the installer (running on the computer). I'm not sure if this is possible, but am hoping somebody does. Any ideas on how to do it are welcome, a fallback idea I have is to have a small AutoIt program which tries to use port 1024 which hopefully should trigger the firewall to ask the user if it's OK - is that possible? Thanks for any help/ideas.
