Nahuel Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Thanks Nahuel However I like your script more - it looks very nice and it behaves very "realistic". The begining of my script (first 2 moves) are quite "automated" I made the script to look first for the central position (the most important) - if it is empty to take it and if it is taken then to take the first corner. After that all is about avoiding certain winning posibilities (3 situations so far), looking for a win situation, and trying to get 2 in a row when safe. Indeed the script is not behaving so randomly - the user will be the one which will "dictate" the script's behaviour. Basically the script is most of the time "defending" itself but if a win situation is born from its defensive work then it will go for it I'm sure the script has some redundant code but I'll "refine" it sometime in the future. Thanks to everyone trying it.Thanks! I did it like you before, it used to take the central square if it was empty. But I didn't want it to look so unnatural. Mine can be beaten easily, but I'm thinking of adding some new stuff that'll make it a bit tougher. Check out the compiled version with funny noises: http://nahueljose.googlepages.com/Tateti.exe (I THINK it's in spanish..) Took 8 games for me to beat it. Hmm.. And what's the sequence?

Nahuel Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Yeah, I was going to edit my previous post saying that I found it too. Try to find another one, it's quite impossible
Sardith Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Yeah this isn't unbeatable. I have another one. Another 3mins playing it. I think you should edit your above post about it being unbeatable.. order: Valik:Get it straight - I'm not here to say please, I'm here to help - if my help's not appreciated then lotsa luck, gentlemen.
Nahuel Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 ^Oh that's the one I discovered... I didn't look at the screenshot. I guess I will edit it
enaiman Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 (edited) @Sardith - The 2nd one you discovered is exactly the mirrored image of the first one. Thanks for sharing the solution - I've updated the script to take care of these "corner" patterns. And you were right - it was not unbeatable ... but you helped me to make it now A big thanks for all who helped me to improve it Edited September 26, 2007 by enaiman SNMP_UDF ... for SNMPv1 and v2c so far, GetBulk and a new example script wannabe "Unbeatable" Tic-Tac-Toe Paper-Scissor-Rock ... try to beat it anyway :)
