cXke
I am creating a script that opens up firefox and then logs into a website. Depending on the text of the current page of the website I want it to CLICK on a button/link(it cannot travel via navigation bar). All I am asking is what function can I use to read browser input, and is it possible to have my mouse click on a link without having to set the coordinates of it in the first place? I've read through some of the example scripts that come with the installation but I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks. weaponx
Firefox has no API exposed for interaction. You will save yourself exactly 1000 lines of code to do this in IE.
DW1
(it cannot travel via navigation bar)You may be right, but you may be wrong.A lot of javascript will let you send the script function to the address bar and it will execute....This is only sometimes, and if this is not the case, use IE like WeaponX said AutoIt3 Online Help
