walle
Recently installed mac osx on my intel computer. The installation scruewed with the xp, so I reinstalled it. Well, now when I trying to decompile my most recent script I'll recives following message: "Error: The executeable file is not recognised as a complie autoitscript" Things to know: The script contains auto3lib functions. Complied by rightclicking the .au3 script and then pressed compile. Edit: Hmm, the exe2auto only support 3.2.5.1, my script is complied in 3, 2, 8, 1 Any new version out? MadBoy
You must be joking! Is it impossible? =/ or just not supported yet?If it's one of the newest it's not supported and impossible. If it's older rls it's doable if you left yourself some door open. My little company: Evotec (PL version: Evotec)

DW1
LOL, oh ok, I see. It's odd to see people trying to only decompile their OWN scripts here on the forum. Most people wanting to decompile are wanting to just steal other peoples code. So when you said "recovery software" I thought you were just confused LOL. Now I see that I was the one that was confused, I didn't think this decompile was legit LOL, sorry about that AutoIt3 Online Help
GEOSoft
Decompile support has been removed from AutoIt after 3.2.5.1 Recovery software to recover the origional au3 file is a slim hope. That's because you have probably overwritten all or portions of that file by now. Recovery software is only good if you realize fairly quickly that you have deleted a file by accident. George Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.Be sure to read and follow the forum rules. -AKA the AutoIt Reading and Comprehension Skills test.*** The PCRE (Regular Expression) ToolKit for AutoIT - (Updated Oct 20, 2011 ver:3.0.1.13) - Please update your current version before filing any bug reports. Moderators SmOke_N Posted October 23, 2007 Moderators Share Posted October 23, 2007 I can see this one leading no where fast if the conversation should continue past this point. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
