Detecting insertion/removal of a USB mass storage device

I am trying to figure out how I can detect the insertion/removal of a USB mass storage device (CF memory card). I have tried the WMI methods posted by PTrex but they do not appear to do anything much :-( Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to do this ?

There may be something in AutoLib that deals with USB. But IDK.

That was the first thing I did, and thats the code that does nothing at all. Thats why I posted a new question.
