It has no low-level capabilities that don't come from other software (Windows APIs, DLLs, COM interfaces). AutoIt is truly excellent for many things, but I doubt its usefulness for low-level hardware diagnostics. As for a RAM check, almost every live CD distro of Linux has MEMTEST86 in its boot menu, also The Ultimate Boot CD.If all you want is access to monitoring that Windows already does, then AutoIt can help. Most of the performance counter and hardware status messages can be accessed via WMI. Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class... Is now in Session! For those who want somebody to write the script for them: RentACoder"Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced." -- Geek's corollary to Clarke's law
