powderedtoastdude Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Is there a mailing list for notifications of new versions of AutoIt? I'd like to stay up to date, but I don't often visit the website "just to check". If such a mailing distribution is already listed somewhere and I just missed it, my apologies. If it doesn't exist, could it please be considered? Thanks muchly, ptd
Zedna Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 It's good idea. I would use it too. Resources UDF ResourcesEx UDF AutoIt Forum Search

John117 Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 (edited) you could always place a shortcut for AutoUpdateIt in your startup folder. -each time you boot it checks, and if true, then you already have it open for the dl or, just rewrite it to run in the background and auto dl Edited December 14, 2007 by Hatcheda

I'll look into that also.you could always place a shortcut for AutoUpdateIt in your startup folder. -each time you boot it checks, and if true, then you already have it open for the dlor, just rewrite it to run in the background and auto dlI prefer a notification of some kind in my email, personally.I run AutoIt in a windows VM that I don't boot daily (linux guy here), so that's not a timely or reliable way for me to stay on top of things. But that's certainly a good tip to collect here for others seeking answers, so definitely thanks for posting it.
