New Version Announcement List?

Is there a mailing list for notifications of new versions of AutoIt? I'd like to stay up to date, but I don't often visit the website "just to check".

If such a mailing distribution is already listed somewhere and I just missed it, my apologies.

If it doesn't exist, could it please be considered?

You can also subscribe to the update notifications in the downloads section here.

Look for the "Notify me when this file is updated" link within both the Release and Beta.

you could always place a shortcut for AutoUpdateIt in your startup folder. -each time you boot it checks, and if true, then you already have it open for the dl

or, just rewrite it to run in the background and auto dl

I prefer a notification of some kind in my email, personally.

I run AutoIt in a windows VM that I don't boot daily (linux guy here), so that's not a timely or reliable way for me to stay on top of things. But that's certainly a good tip to collect here for others seeking answers, so definitely thanks for posting it.
