Need help with word automation

Please help with the following:

1. Insert text at random places in a word document. I think I need to set a range object to the place I want to insert into and use InsertAfter/Before, but how do I set the range w.r.t pages/paragraphs/words ? i.e. I want o insert before the first word in the first sentence of the 3rd page ?

2. Scroll (or set focus) to a given page of a word document before editing the text, so that the user can see the text being inserted.

Kindly help. Please let me know the objects and methods, or the UDFs if any... right now I'm so lost in the COM reference that I dont know where to start.

There is a Word UDF included with AutoIt. Look in AutoIt help. Also look here
