Colorful GUI's?

I wanted to know..if its possible to change the background color and color of text box's of your GUI's...if it is....what do i need to put to change the color...i belive hex colors have something to do with it...but not 100% sure...I found a neat program that someone made...i forgot...FLEXY...and it tells the hex colors and cooridents and stuff like that...so...is it possible to change the colors of your GUI...?

Have you really read the help file?

Look at GUISetBkColor and GUICtrlSetBkColor along with GUICtrlSetColor.

so im supposted to go through the helpfile looking for anything that has color in it?

since you know the helpfile has about 1000 terms.

Probably more than that. But you can also search by word. Just type color and see what pops up.

At some point, YES, you are expected to read the help file. That's what it's there for. A good starting place for GUI Questions would be Function Reference>>GUI Reference>>GUI Control Update and Function Reference>>GUI Reference>>GUI Parameters

Edit: The help file was not put there just to increase the size of AutoIt. It is probably the most valuable tool you have.

and GuiCtrlSetColor...neither of them changed the actual ENTIRE background of the GUI

did you notice that both of those have "Ctrl" in it???
