Return Value Use

First off, I'm an AutoIt n00b. I love the language and have used it to automate many of my tedious jobs I need to do over and over again, as I work in IT.

I'm trying to write a script to automatically check for network connectivity and check for network problems at my home. I'd like the script to work based on the return value of a message box, but I have no clue how to implement it.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Do you mean something along the lines of

If MsgBox ( 262148, 'Question', 'Do you wish to continue with this operation?') = 6 Then MyFunction()

This gives you a Yes/No message box with top-most attribute and if the user clicks yes it will go to MyFunction()
