Detect shift key during mouse click

Hi,

I'm using a stock charting program that has a built in language that uses the Microsoft JScript/VBScript to allow users to add COM code to the programs that we create.

That being said, is there any way for me to detect when the shift key is pressed during a mouse click over the form containing the chart being displayed? I was hoping that there is a way of using AutoIt's COM object to do this.
